Our Story (Brief History Of OMFB Ltd.)

The bank was incorporated in Nigeria as a private limited liability company on the 13 th day of May, 1995 as Umunna Estate Community Bank Nigeria Ltd. The registration and provisional license Number were: 285674 and 0929 respectively. However the bank was restructured and renamed Oluchukwu Community Bank Ltd and commenced operation on 2 nd April, 2001. On 24 th January,2002, the CBN issued it an Operational license number 0000082. In the year 2007, the bank successfully migrated to a full fledged microfinance bank in line with the new microfinance bank policy of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
